International Travelers Save Up To 20% with the Star Alliance Network
The Star Alliance™ Members Airlines have again been appointed as the Official Airline Network for GSMA Mobile World Congress 2012.
To obtain the Star Alliance Conventions Plus discounts please follow the below steps to access the Conventions Plus online booking tool:
Registered participants plus one accompanying person travelling to the event are automatically granted a discount of up to 20%, depending on fare and class of travel booked.

Discounts are offered on published business and economy class fares, excluding website/internet fares, senior and youth fares, group fares and Round the World fares.
Please note: For travel from Japan and New Zealand, special fares or discounts are offered by the participating airlines on their own network.

The Conventions Plus Fare discount is not applicable to senior citizen fares and youth fares, fares with an agency or industry discount, web fares or round the world fares. In the case of Singapore Airlines, the discount applies only to IATA fares.
All Conventions Plus fare discounts offered are valid for international travel on Participating Carriers only. Convention delegate and companion must travel together to and from the Event. The delegate must submit proof of attending the Event when making his/her reservation. Delegate tickets must be booked by calling a participating Star Alliance member carrier, or any travel agent.
The Conventions Plus Fare is not applicable for travel to or from New Zealand and Japan. Special offers for travel to/from New Zealand and Japan are available.
Reservations are taken for changes to the above-mentioned participating airlines and delegate fare discounts and exceptions in accordance with the Star Alliance Official Airline Network Agreement.
The Star Alliance Conventions Plus discount is available on a first come, first served basis. International travel discounts are valid for travel by eligible passengers on participating carriers only. Accompanying persons must travel together with the event delegate to and from the event. Domestic travel discounts are valid on Spanair. Any communications, changes or revisions to flight booking and must be made through the airlines or Star Alliance booking office.
