The Applied Innovation Institute is a non-profit network of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Faculty from the world’s top universities. In addition to the academic programs that consist of curriculum sharing, exchange placement, sabbatical placement, and publishing opportunities, the Institute also runs global, inter-collegiate entrepreneurship competitions between student startups. At this Mobile World Congress, the Institute will be running the 3rd Annual University Mobile Challenge where 12 finalist student companies will each represent their university to see which has developed the best Mobile App company over the past year. This event is made possible through the generous sponsorship of companies such as Facebook and GSMA.
