App Planet is an “event within an event” at Mobile World Congress 2010 that will present a unique opportunity to explore the many dimensions of the dynamic and critically important mobile applications market. By pulling all the key players together in one place at one time, we will make App Planet the new Centre of the Apps Universe for the four days of Mobile World Congress.

App Developer Conferences
App Developer Conferences will be a central focus of App Planet and will be conducted by our partners. App Lounge
The App Lounge is a networking area within App Planet that provides a retreat for attendees and developers to relax, meet with fellow attendees, and catch up on the day’s news via our media partner and sponsor publications. In addition, attendees can enjoy complimentary beer Monday to Wednesday between 18:00 and 19:00 at the Damm Bar located directly opposite the App Lounge.

App Garage
App Garage is the focal point of GSMA’s Applications related projects in the Mobile World Congress. Featured projects include: OneAPI, RCS DevChallenge, RCS Project and PathFinder. Each day there will be demonstrations on all of the featured projects. Visit the stand, talk to the experts, and discover apps in action.  

GSMA Mobile Innovation Zone
Meet with the 10 Global Finalists of the Mobile Innovation Grand Prix, in addition to last year’s champion, CooTek, and other members of the Mobile Innovation Exchange community - the MIX -where they showcase the latest products, services and technologies in this pavilion that boasts the future of mobile.
