We are delighted to once again host the Mobile World Congress Golf Tournament at the renowned Real Club de Golf El Prat. This is the first golf course in Continental Europe designed by Greg Norman and it was the host of the 2011 Spanish Open Championship.

This exciting, full-day event will include transport to and from central Barcelona, or the airport, breakfast before play, eighteen holes of golf on the stunning El Prat course, post-game refreshments, a drinks reception and a prize presentation. In addition, GSMA will host a golf clinic and photo opportunity with legendary golfer, 2 time Majors winner and Ryder Cup Captain, Tony Jacklin.
The Tournament is part of the World Corporate Golf Challenge; the top two players will receive an expense-paid trip to the WCGC Championship Final at The Carrick Golf Course on Loch Lomond, Scotland from the 7 – 12 May 2013.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the schedule for the day?
The GSMA will provide transportation at 08:00 from Plaça Espanya (look for buses and signs). Participants will be returned to the same location after the tournament by approximately 19:00. The day will commence with registration and breakfast at approximately 09:15 in the clubhouse where players will be introduced to each other. Golfing legend and WCGC Ambassador Tony Jacklin will be hosting a Golf Clinic and following this the tournament will begin. There will be refreshments provided at the 10th Hole. The evening drinks and buffet, prize presentation and Tony Jacklin Q&A session will commence at approximately 16:00. The event buses will then take you back to the city centre.
What is the cost for the day?
There is no charge for attending the golf tournament. If you need to hire golf clubs from El Prat golf course, there is a charge of €45.00 per person.
