There are many different learning opportunities, conference sessions and seminars at Mobile World Congress. Here’s a list of definitions so you can better understand your options, plan your time at Congress and be sure to obtain the correct pass type.
The Mobile World Congress Conference programme is a key component of Congress, featuring executives from leading companies in the mobile space and experts from adjacent industries that are redefining mobile. Sessions are composed of presentations, panel discussions and audience questions.
The only way to view conference sessions is to hold a
Platinum,
Gold or
Silver Pass. These pass holders are also given access to presentation materials after the event. Video excerpts may be shown later on
MobileWorldLive.com, but for the full impact of the sessions, you will want to be present for the entire session.
If you have an Exhibition Visitor Pass and would like to attend the conference, log in to your registration record and
upgrade to a Silver or Gold Pass today.
Please note: We wish to apologise to those who experienced overcrowding in some conference sessions last year. We are actively taking steps this year to improve both our capacity and your experience. More details will be available soon.
Our morning
Keynote sessions are part of the conference programme (see above) and therefore require a Platinum, Gold or Silver Pass for entry.
Keynotes advertised as
Mobile World Live Keynotes are streamed live on
MobileWorldLive.com and may be viewed by anyone with a computer or mobile device. We offer viewing areas throughout Fira Montjuïc (TBC) where these can be viewed by Exhibition Visitor Pass holders, but only the Platinum, Gold and Silver Pass holders are allowed in the auditoria and relay rooms.
Open to all attendees, GSMA Seminars provide insight and share developments on key GSMA and industry initiatives. They offer a unique opportunity to hear from GSMA personnel and industry experts while furthering your knowledge in the topical areas that really matter to the industry.

App Developer Conferences (ADCs) are sessions specifically for the app developer community. Led and managed by our ADC Partners, these sessions allow developers and the developer community to meet platform and device manufacturers, receive insights and help to market their apps, and network with other developers.
App Developer Conferences are open to all pass holders, however attendees must register their interest in attending ADCs through the Attendee Application System. The ADC Partner(s) will contact attendees directly with details on attending their session. More information may be found by visiting the
App Developer Conference page.
Please note attendees can attend multiple ADCs, even concurrent ADCs.
Our Forum Series was introduced in 2011 and proved wildly popular. In a Forum, attendees of any pass type focus on a singular topic, like the Mobile Cloud, LTE, or Green Technology. Attendees can attend part or all of the day-long session.
Like an App Developer Conference, attendees will register their interest in attending multiple Forum Sessions at one time through the Attendee Application System. The Information collected will be distributed to each Forum Partner, who will contact the attendee directly with details on attending their session.
