Mobile World Congress Americas
The Mobile World Congress portfolio is expanding yet again! Following the success of our Asia-based Mobile World Congress Shanghai event, the GSMA is bringing Mobile World Congress to the Americas in 2017.
The GSMA and CTIA, which represents the U.S. wireless communications industry, recently announced an exciting partnership to create a new mobile industry event in United States, debuting 12-14 September 2017 in San Francisco, California. Last week, the CTIA hosted its final CTIA Super Mobility event showcasing the U.S. wireless industry. In 2017 and beyond, the event will become Mobile World Congress Americas, organised by the GSMA and in partnership with CTIA.
The new MWC Americas event will continue serving CTIA Super Mobility attendees, exhibitors, and sponsors, and attract new audiences from across the ecosystem.
The 2017 MWC Americas will showcase how mobile is creating the connected life, transforming how individuals, businesses and entire industries communicate, interact and innovate. Mobile World Congress Americas is set to become the leading mobile industry event in the Americas, with a strong focus on North, Central and South America.
MWC Americas will naturally include a conference program featuring C-level speakers and leading industry experts; an exhibition showing the latest mobile technologies, products and services; a regulatory and public policy program; partner events; free seminars and many other activities. It is expected that the inaugural event in San Francisco will attract 30,000 attendees and 1,000 exhibitors.
