Call for Papers
Interested in becoming a Speaker at Mobile World Congress 2018?
The Call for Papers is an important step in our research for our 2018 speakers, topics and agenda development. We are always keen to hear from companies and individuals who would like to speak at GSMA events.
At MWC, we strive to showcase the entire connected ecosystem, but it’s not an insignificant challenge given its pervasiveness and ever-growing complexity. So, partnerships, especially with end-users, will increase your chances of being included in the MWC 2018 agenda.
The Call for Papers will close on September 27th, 2017. We will contact successful applicants in the coming weeks and all notifications will be sent by the 30th November, 2017.
The list below gives some guidance on the topics that will be addressed at MWC17. This list is not exhaustive and we welcome submissions covering additional relevant topics. There will be an opportunity for you to add in other proposed topics during the submission process.
For any queries please contact the Speaker Team.
Please note that making a submission does not guarantee a speaking slot and we are not able to give feedback on individual submissions.
The Showcase Stage in Hall 4
Following its resounding success at Mobile World Congress 2016, we are bringing the Showcase Stage back for 2017. This stage is designed to showcase the brightest new companies, people and ideas that our audience otherwise wouldn’t typically encounter. If you would like to take part in the Showcase Stage, please click the button below and complete the form.
Calling All Start-ups!
MWC17 is all about innovation, driving investment and the development of new ideas. As such, the conference will feature the “Innovation Showcase”, a session which will begin with a panel discussion featuring venture capitalists, investors, and industry experts sharing their thoughts on what makes a successful venture in telecommunications today. Following this panel, a series of start-ups will be able to pitch their company to the panel of experts and the audience. Take this opportunity to not only position your young company in front of the largest tech investors, but also get instant feedback and advice from people in the know!
Our agenda is still in development and will be posted soon. We have included a list of topics that will be covered during the conference programme. Please note, this list is not exhaustive and we welcome submissions covering additional relevant topics. There will be an opportunity for you to add in other proposed topics during the submission process.
