Director, Consumer Insight
Sarah is responsible for Channel 4’s award-winning data strategy and transforming the way viewer data and insight is used to inspire new ideas and maximise Channel 4’s competitive edge as one of UK’s leading commercial public service broadcasters.
Sarah joined Channel 4 in 2006 as Head of VOD and Channel Development where she oversaw the launch of the ground-breaking 4OD service, now All 4. In 2010 she became Director of Commercial and Business Development where she was responsible for all non-ad sales revenues including Distribution, Secondary Sales, DVD, Games and the Commercial Growth Fund. She has been leading the Consumer Insight team since 2016.
Before joining Channel 4, Sarah was at ITV for ten years where she started as a Graduate Management Trainee, rising to General Manager, ITV Digital Channels.
Sarah is a member of Channel 4’s Executive team and is on the Board of the BARB, the UK’s broadcasting JIC
